Gifted with strong interpersonal skills, Carl’s professional experiences enhance his relationships with the clients who want to make dynamic changes in their lives. Throughout Carl’s extensive and successful career in the arena of professional and collegiate sports, he has consistently created and employed successful strategies for each player at all levels. Currently vetted in the Recovery Community Carl is directing the fitness component at various Recovery Centers valley wide, where his passion for coaching has evolved from the playing field to the field of life. “I love the energy and the excitement in helping a person who has lost all hope to find a new life in sobriety.” Carl is an intricate part of the men and women whose lives are mired in the pains of addiction, encompassing all levels and ages. Carl has had a great impact on the participants because he first believes in them as people. Many of his players have excelled at the game on the field, but more importantly at the game of life. Coach Carl is a sought after motivational speaker who embraces his gifts to encourage, engage and educate to empower you to excellence. Liz Langreck, MS, RDN Liz has been working to help those struggling with eating disorders since 2011. Liz is a registered dietitian who has worked at all levels of eating disorder care. She is currently pursuing certification as an Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian from the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. She began her career at Remuda Ranch in Wickenburg, AZ working as a registered dietician. In 2014, Liz joined Dr. Lesley Williams to collaborate at Liberation Center, an outpatient eating disorder center in downtown Phoenix. Liz holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Dietetics, and a Master of Science in Food and Nutrition Science from the University of Wisconsin Stout. Liz completed her accredited dietetic internship through the University of Wisconsin Stout. Liz is a Wisconsin native who enjoys sports, yoga, hiking and the outdoors, cats, and recovery. She has an interest in eastern philosophy and an obsession with the work of Brene Brown. She believes her work in this space is, unquestionably, a calling from her Higher Power. Samantha Higgins, LPC Samantha Higgins is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and University of Louisiana at Monroe with a master's degree in substance abuse counseling. She is currently a licensed professional counselor and clinical supervisor. Certified in DBT Samantha has been fortunate to work with all types of clients and treatment centers since becoming a military spouse in 2009. Through her work with addiction, crisis and mental health, she feels fully equipped to handle a diverse population with different needs. She believes that we all strive to be better, some just need more guidance than others.
